Research in Motion more commonly known as RIM are a Canadian telecommunication company and best know as being the producer of the Blackberry business mobile. 

The many blackberry devices use the blackberry OS the latest incarnation being the Blackberry OS 5.

The OS has a huge following from business mobile users due to its native support for corporate email through MIDP and syncrinisation with Microsoft exchange. The OS also supports tasks, calendar, notes and contacts.

This OS is targeted on simple operation and was initially created for business mobiles. Lately it has experienced a surge in third-party applications and it has been enhanced to provide full multimedia support.
